The ACE-ESD has confirmed the membership with the GEIDCO

the ACE-ESD humbly received a visit from Jianming WANG GEIDCO Deputy (Director of the Office in AddisAbaba) and the ACEESD was willing to join the Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO)

GEIDCO Overview

GEIDCO,(founded in March, 2016 in Beijing, China), is an international organization among willing firms, associations, institutions and individuals who are dedicated to promoting the sustainable development of energy worldwide. The purpose of GEIDCO is to promote GEI to meet the global demand for electricity in a clean green way, to implement the United Nation "sustainable Energy for All" and climate change combat initiatives, and to serve the sustainable development of humanity.

Till March 2017, GEIDCO has 265 members from 22 countries and regions, covering all major continents Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America, and oceania. The current Chairman of GEIDCO is Mr. Liu zhenya, who is President of China Electricity council (CEC) and former chairman of State Grid Corporation of China. Dr. Steven Chu, former U.S Secretary of Energy and Nobel Laureate in Physics, Mr. Shu Yinbiao, Chairman of State Grid Corporation of China, Mr. Masayoshi Son, Chairman and CEO of SoftBank Corp., and Mr. Oleg Budargin, Chairman of the Management Board, Director General of PJSC ROSSETl serve as the Vice Chairmen.
