Dr. Samuel Mutarindwa

Lecturer

    Mr. Samuel Mutarindwa is a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, School of Business, College of Business and Economics, University of Rwanda, and a PhD student in Business Administration at Jönköping University, Sweden.

    He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the National University of Rwanda ; an MSc in Accounting and Finance (Makerere University) ; an MBA (Kampala International University) ; an MPhil in Research Utilization and uptake (Stellenbosch University, South Africa). He is currently pursuing his PhD studies at Jönköping University in Sweden since April 2014.

    Samuel served at the National University of Rwanda (NUR) as a Tutorial Assistant (January 2008-March 2012) in the Faculty of Economics and Management ; Assistant Lecturer (2012-2015) and currently a Lecturer in the School of Business, College of Business and Economics, University of Rwanda. He also served as the Academic Secretary for the Masters of ICT policy and regulation of former NUR ; and in the Directorate of Research of the former NUR as a Research attaché.

    Areas of research interest :

    Corporate governance, regulation, and codification. Banking performance, stability, finance, and outreach. Law, financial development, and growth.
