The African Center of Excellence in Energy for Sustainable Development (ACE-ESD) is an ACE II centre of excellence addressing low rural energy access, slow adoption of energy technologies, and limited inter-state energy trading in Eastern and Southern Africa.
The ACE II project is a partnership between the World Bank and the Government of Rwanda to strengthen institutions of higher education, deliver quality postgraduate education, and build collaborative research capacity across the sub-region and the continent.
